Philately

Sue -

Hey, just dropping a line. How ya doing? My name's Tobin, I'm 33, and I work in the textiles industry doing purchasing/planning. You seem really cool. I have a lot of hobbies, but my biggest is probably the collection and study of stamps, both topically and for the history of the postal industry. My prized possessions are a few Penny Reds and some world stamps. I even have one from the Serene Republic of San Marino!

I saw that you are into chemistry. That's really cool! Do you own your own microscope? Maybe we could look at some slides together and maybe I can show you some stamps under 10x and we can guess if they are perf 12 or perf 13 (that's the number of perforations a stamp has).

Anyway, message me back. I think we'd be perforate for each other.

See you Phi-later,

Tobin

Ecdysis

So, you're into spelunking, romantic comedies, and twizzlers...I'm not gonna lie, I had to look up the last one when you told me it was something you do in the bedroom. Well, I'm a pretty normal guy, I guess. Other than what you already know - I love football, I'm a huge dinosaur nut, I spend most weekends at the museum.

...I'm pretty excited that you want to meet up. I guess we have been talking a lot on here. What do you want to do? Go out for coffee? Or maybe something more intimate. Dinner and a show? Let me know.

Umm, before we meet, I have something to tell you that you should probably know about me. It's not that weird, I think a lot of people deal with it. Hmm, let me put it this way...you know everyone changes over time, and I'm no different. I molt. I understand if you don't want to see me now, but let me tell you some of the great things about my condition. For one, I can carpool any time I want. Just me and my exoskeleton in the HOV lane. Also, my exuvium can be used as furniture. My sheddings make Williams Sonoma look like Wal-Mart. Lastly, its not just my cuticula that is constantly rock hard, if you get my drift.

Well, anyway, let me know what you think. I really think we've hit it off well, and we have so much in common. I will talk to you soon. Hope you don't think I'm too being too forward.

Yours,

Crabman (thought this was a dead giveaway, by the way...)
